the door is closing…ever so slowly on mike lowell and the red sox. i really don’t forsee him in the future of red sox nation guys…i hate to say that. but i fear it’s true. so now the yankees have a-rod, they have 3B on lock, they go for lowell at 1B…mvp’s at the corners. so basically i am resigning myself to the fact that i will have to hear the sound that mike lowell’s goodbye makes. am i prepared? no. will i get over it? yes. do i like it? no…

barry bonds finally gets what he deserves.
tito got screwed.
beckett got screwed.
the yankees get what they deserve (a bum deal with a-hole).

i know the sox have evaluated Lowell’s value and they put 3 years on that value. and i am fine with that. i respect the fact that they have a logical, objective approach to keeping players/letting players go…but i really hate the sound that goodbyes make…
