um, what do I even say? I try to keep my blog pretty much about the actual game, and my opinion on certain deals, situations, etc. But, just this once I’ve gotta say it…Beckett is a hottie. Watching him pitch is amazing — not only is he one of the best pitchers in the game, but he looks good doing it. I was just reading Schilling’s blog (like I do every day…yes I’m a fan) and he had this great quote, I’m stealing it Curt, sorry man. “The ace, the best October pitcher alive today, is healthy, fresh and throwing the ever living piss out of the ball right now.” So true. He was on last night, he looked good and I thought, yup, this is why I LOVE baseball. Okay, so we lost, fine, I get that…but this is the stuff that makes baseball great, the back and forth between the Rays and the Sox…it’s great. Hollywood couldn’t have written this better. Jason Bay leaving Florida to get back to Boston with 45 minutes to spare before his wife gave birth…Beckett going into the 8th on only his 3rd start back after the DL…Coco is making a comeback in terms of his offense…I have a feeling that even though the temperature is dropping here in Maine, things are going to heat up in Boston!
